Mabuhay!

Am-Am started from a set of wonderful parents and their enjoyment in sharing their love of baking and cooking. The curiosity, willingness to try and positive feedbacks to my mother's spring rolls and rice cakes, and to my father's savoury dishes have given us the inspiration to introduce and share our beloved Filipino food to a greater audience. And thus, leading to the creation of Am-Am, meaning it's time to eat.

"Am-am" was the word my parents often used to call us when it's time to eat when we were children. My siblings and I also used the word, "am-am", when we were hungry or when we wanted to eat. As a tribute to that, and how food is central in our family, we chose "Am-Am" to introduced our own versions of Filipino food.

I'm Erika, their daughter who shares her mother's love for baking and her father's love of cooking, would like to welcome everyone to try our homemade Filipino food!
