Kakanin (rice cakes | riskaker)

From the word 'kanin' and 'kain', meaning 'rice' and 'eat' respectively, the Philippine offers varying rice cakes, often as a desserts or snacks/merienda but it can also be paired up with a savoury dish.

Kutsinta

Would you like another type of soft and very chewy rice cake? If so, we would like to introduced one of Philippines famous steamed rice cake, Kutsinta! It's usually toped with grated coconut, but ours comes with a creamy coconut rich-flavoured sauce that will surely make the Kutsinta melts in your mouth.
